The Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria (GPBN) is a national professional association established to promote excellence, credibility, and ethical standards in blogging and digital publishing across Nigeria. It was established in 2016. The Guild serves as a unifying platform for professional bloggers, content creators, digital publishers, and media entrepreneurs who are committed to responsible storytelling, innovation, and the growth of Nigeria’s digital media ecosystem.
GPBN was formed in response to the rapid expansion of blogging and online media in Nigeria, with the aim of providing structure, professionalism, and collective representation for practitioners in the space. The Guild advocates best practices in content creation, fact-checking, digital ethics, and compliance with relevant laws, while also protecting the interests and rights of its members.
